We follow the Victorian educator-to-child ratio requirements:
1:4 for children under 3 years of age
1:11 for children aged 3 years and over
We are proud to maintain these ratios to ensure high-quality care, active supervision, and meaningful engagement for every child.

Our centre is supported by a warm, experienced, and professional team who are passionate about early childhood education.
We do not engage agency staff — all of our casual educators are personally recruited to ensure consistency, strong relationships, and continuity of care for our families.
-
At Treetop Early Learning, we offer a variety of enriching experiences designed to enhance children’s learning and development.
These include regular incursions and excursions, giving children opportunities to explore new environments and experiences.
We also provide a dedicated Art and Language Enrichment Program, designed to extend children’s creativity, communication skills, and cultural awareness.
-
At Treetop Early Learning, children’s safety and wellbeing is our highest priority.
To support active supervision, educators are required to store personal phones and smart watches in their lockers while on shift. We also ask families to refrain from using mobile phones in rooms and corridors.
Technology use within rooms is kept to a minimum. Children’s daily routines are recorded on the room’s daily board, with a photo uploaded to Storypark each evening to keep families informed. Daily reflections are handwritten in floor books and displayed outside each room.
All team members maintain current qualifications and certifications, including (but not limited to) Child Protection, First Aid and CPR, Red Nose Safe Sleep, and SunSmart training.
We also support risky play, as it helps children build confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills. This includes manageable challenges such as climbing or balancing, always under educator supervision.
This differs from hazardous play, which involves unsafe or unidentified risks (such as broken equipment or unsafe environments). These hazards are actively identified and removed by educators.
By allowing appropriate risk while eliminating hazards, we support children to explore, learn, and develop strong safety awareness.

As our service is closed on public holidays, a 50% discount is applied to the gap fee for those days.
Please note that Child Care Subsidy (CCS) allows for up to 42 allowable absence days per financial year. Once this limit is reached, CCS will no longer be applied, and full fees will be payable.

The government provides a subsidy for children attending
kindergarten in a Long Day Care (LDC) setting, such as
Treetop Early Learning, reducing your out of pocket costs.
This applies to both 3 & 4 year old kindergarten.
Free Kinder is a maximum of $2100* per calendar year for each child attending 15 hours plus per week.
It’s important to note that children can only receive Free Kinder funding at one service. Therefore, if you’re enrolled at multiple Kindergartens or Long Day Car (LDC) centres, you must nominate which service will receive Free Kinder funding.
For more information on Free Kinder, please visit the
Victorian Government Website.
